Kombo 950 LF Adjuvant
Active Ingredients: Citric Acid @ 150g/kg & Ammonium Sulphate @ 796g/kg
Kombo 950 LF Adjuvant is a new generation, combination adjuvant with multi-functional properties for use with Glyphosate in all standard mixtures with other herbicides in broadacre fallow situations, under row weed control in horticulture and industrial weed control situations.
Kombo 950 LF Adjuvant is an all in one adjuvant product for use with Glyphosate & non-selective herbicides as a
- Penetrant
- Wetting Agent
- Water Softener
- Acidifier
- Drift Mitigating Agent
- Defoaming agent
Why choose Kombo 950 LF Adjuvant;
- Contains the active Ingredients of Citric Acid & Refined Ammonium Sulphate.
- A convenient “single product combination adjuvant system”.
- No need to add additional ammonium sulphate and more soluble than traditional bagged ammonium sulphate.
- Mitigates off-target spray drift.
- Compatible with all other herbicides commonly tank-mixed with glyphosate.
- Extremely cost-effective.
- Enhances herbicide penetration.
- Assists with herbicide uptake.
- Includes a powerful defoaming agent.
- A complete water conditioning agent.
- Aids tank-mix compatibility.
- Improves droplet spread.
- Has no unpleasant odour.
- Disposable packaging.
- Minimal measuring is required.
Kombo 950 should be used with non-selective herbicides only. When used with some selective herbicides a loss of selectivity and therefore crop damage may result.
Kombo 950 LF Adjuvant components will help the performance of glyphosate herbicides by;
- Acidifying The Spray Water
- Kombo 950 will acidify the spray solution where alkaline water can reduce the performance of acid-based herbicides like glyphosate.
- Increasing The Spray Droplet Spread
- Kombo 950 will lower the surface tension of the spray water, thereby improving spray coverage.
- Softening The Spray Water
- Kombo 950 will reduce the effects of “hard water” ie. water that contains high levels of free calcium and magnesium ions that can cause tie-up of the glyphosate Herbicide.
- Increasing Leaf Penetration
- Kombo 950 will assist the entry of glyphosate through the waxy cuticular layer on the surface of the leaf and facilitate a more rapid and complete uptake of the herbicide into
the plant tissue.

- Mitigating Spray Drift
- Kombo 950 will mitigate spray drift when used at 500g/100L by reducing the production of driftable fines, hence allowing more spray solution to reach to target, thereby improving herbicide efficacy. Kombo 950 reduces the production of driftable spray fines by increasing the viscosity of the spray solution.
Why use Carboxylic Acid (Citric Acid) in an adjuvant;
- It acidifies alkaline water.
- Assists herbicide penetration.
- Aids compatibility.
- Chelates Iron, Zinc, and Aluminium Ions from spray solutions.
Is Kombo 950 LF Adjuvant Compatible with non-glyphosate based herbicides;
- Kombo 950 LF is physically compatible with the following non-Glyphosate based herbicide active ingredients: 2,4-D Ester, 2,4-D Amine, Oxyfluorfen, Carfentrazone, Metsulfuron, Chlorsulfuron, Triasulfuron, Triclopyr, Trifluralin and Fluroxypyr.

Tried Bunnings Glyphosate on Periwinkle and other weeds, took a number of applications. Tried Glyphosate 550 Twin-Salt Herbicide with the wetter and it blitzed most of the weeds; still attacking the ivy, but seems to be working well.
